Our Mission:
Salt and Light Healthcare Life Collective is a non-denominational, non-profit healthcare ministry that seeks to uplift, support, encourage, and empower our fellow healthcare workers through the love of Jesus Christ.
As healthcare workers, we often place the care of others before ourselves and may not realize that we need care. We see a gap. We see a gap in the care of our physical, spiritual, and mental health needs, leaving a feeling of being stuck. We see people seeking hope and purpose.
Our passion is to partner with you holistically. By renewing our minds, bodies, and souls we can continue in the worthy endeavor of providing care to others and strengthen our resolve to serve others with love and grace.

Statement of Faith
We base our ministry on the following statement of faith:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Debi Love, BA, RN
Debi is an experienced nurse who has been serving in healthcare since 2002, with experience spanning pediatrics, NICU, PICU, emergency care, and management. She has held the role of Director of Women’s/Infant Services and served in recent years as a House Supervisor. Witnessing more and more co-workers experiencing moral injury, burnout and exhaustion led to the creation of Salt and Light Healthcare Life, a community born out of a God-inspired vision on May 20, 2021, where healthcare workers can come together in a judgment free space to connect, support one another and experience God's love.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Debi is a widow, mother to three amazing ladies, “aunt” to many and DeeDee to three awesome grands! She has been involved in coaching basketball, is an avid fan of Duke and Lady Gamecock basketball, enjoys spending time with family and friends and will travel in a heartbeat….if it includes flyfishing—-grab a pole and let’s go!

Jessica Krauel, BSN, RN
Jessica Krauel is a nurse that began practicing in 2002. The majority of those years having been spent at the bedside in Critical Care. Her additional nursing experience includes med-surg, hospice and management. She also enjoyed four years as a travel nurse. Her passion for caring for others now leads her to Salt and Light Healthcare Life Collective to pour love and support into healthcare providers.
She is a wife, mom to 2, enjoys reading, gardening, crafting and marveling over the beauty of the mountains in her spare time.
